These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases between You and the Company.

1) PRIVACY POLICY

Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy online at paddle.co.nz Privacy Policy.

2) PRICES

All prices published on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

If you are accessing this website from overseas, prices may be listed without GST, and any products ordered and shipped to an overseas address may be charged at GST-exclusive prices.

If you are an approved trade customer and logged in to your account, prices shown may be exclusive of GST, but this will be clearly stated next to the item price.

3) PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Paddle NZ Limited cannot guarantee availability of all products and cannot guarantee that all items will be available for immediate delivery. We reserve the right, without liability or prior notice, to revise, discontinue, or cease to make available any or all products, or to cancel any order. If there is any revision, discontinuance, or cessation, we may offer a similar product.

However, we do our best to keep key products in stock at all times. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you by phone or email to discuss available options.

4) ERRORS ON THIS WEBSITE

We make every effort to ensure that all information on this website is accurate. However, in the event of a product being listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information, or where stock is unavailable due to typographical, pricing, or technical errors, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for such product(s).

This right applies whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment method has been charged. If payment has already been processed and your order is cancelled, we will promptly issue a refund using the original payment method.

5) ORDER PROCESSING

When we receive your purchase order, you will be notified by email. We review all purchase orders to ensure they are complete and include all information required for delivery. We may contact you if additional information is needed to process your order.

Complete orders are generally processed within 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Please note that we only dispatch orders that have been paid for in full, including freight charges where applicable, unless you have an approved trade account with the Company.

If all ordered items are in stock, we will aim to dispatch your order within 2 business days. If any items are unavailable, we will contact you to discuss options including alternative products, backorders, or full or partial refunds.

6) DELIVERY POLICY

We use local courier and freight companies for delivery. Delivery costs vary depending on your location. Different delivery rates may apply for the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and rural surcharges may also apply.

Shipping to overseas locations may be completed using NZ Post Airmail unless otherwise requested. Please contact us for estimated delivery times.

Target delivery times within New Zealand:

  • North Island - 1 to 2 working days

  • South Island - 2 to 3 working days

  • Rural delivery - allow an additional 1 to 2 working days

These delivery times are estimates only and are subject to the delivery provider’s schedules. Deliveries generally occur on business days only, although Saturday delivery may be available on request.

For Stewart Island and other coastal islands of New Zealand, please contact us before placing your order.

Please inspect your shipment for any damage or missing items before signing for delivery. Ownership and risk of loss or damage passes from the Company to the Customer upon delivery by the freight or courier company.

Delivery of larger items such as kayaks or oversized products may incur additional freight charges and may only be delivered to the nearest freight depot rather than residential addresses. Please contact us before placing your order. We will confirm delivery arrangements once your order has been received.

7) SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Shipping and handling charges are added to online orders.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding freight or handling charges, please contact us.

8) WARRANTY

All products purchased from Paddle NZ Limited through associated stockists or directly through this website are covered by a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some products may also include an extended manufacturer warranty.

The warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or excessive use.

To make a warranty claim, please first contact the store where you purchased the product.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice. Faulty items may need to be returned to us for inspection and assessment with the manufacturer. Returned goods must be clean and dry.

If a product fault is determined to be covered under warranty, we reserve the right to repair, replace, or offer an alternative product or refund where appropriate.

9) RETURN POLICY

Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. However, we may assist with exchanges where the incorrect size or colour was purchased, subject to availability.

Products marked as clearance or sale items may not be eligible for return or refund.

Before returning any item to Paddle NZ Limited, please contact us by phone or email. For your security, we recommend returning products via tracked courier.

Returned products must:

  • Be unused and complete, including all accessories and tags

  • Be returned in original packaging

  • Be received within 14 days of purchase

  • Include proof of purchase or invoice copy

The Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise required under New Zealand consumer law.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that are incomplete, damaged, used, or otherwise not in original condition. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply in some circumstances.

10) REFUND POLICY

Refunds are generally only provided for approved warranty claims or where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where possible, we will first seek to repair or replace the product. If a repair or replacement is not possible, we may offer an alternative product or refund.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 3 working days.

Shipping, freight, and packaging charges are non-refundable unless required by law.

11) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paddle NZ Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, loss of profits, injury, or damages arising from the use or misuse of products purchased from us or through associated stockists.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.

12) DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We will endeavour to resolve all customer issues by mutual agreement wherever possible.

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the purchase of any product from Paddle NZ Limited, New Zealand law shall apply.

These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreements whereby we provide services to you, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
